I found a few interesting images while browsing through someone’s travel blog. It’s amazing how some people can create simple images and turn them into something not just plain images or symbols but also something that send out meaningful messages. Images that has a bit of humor in it, images that serve as a reminder or an inspiration, images that talk about life, women, men, work, career, travel, love, etc.

I only have a few words to write about this blog post and I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Viewers, enjoy and judge it for yourself!

I’ve read a lot of websites talking about these different prophecies. It doesn’t matter if these things are really going to happen or not, if we have to believe these things or not; but for those who are curious, we want to know what are the possibilities. Prophecies are like warnings, reminders, sort of a wake up call; and to those who anticipate it, prophecies are like a preparation for them.

Here I compiled a few videos from History Channel’s Nostradamus Effect (Episodes 1 to 3)

Episode 1 – The Third Anti-Christ

Episode 2 – Da Vinci’s Armageddon
http://www.quicktvonline.com/2009/09/nostradamus-effect-s01e02.html

Episode 3 – Extinction 2012
http://www.quicktvonline.com/2009/09/nostradamus-effect-s01e03.html

Episode 4 – Hitler’s Blood Oath

Your heart beats over 100,000 times a day.

Although brain is responsible for registering pain in the body, the brain itself has no pain receptors and feels no pain.

The human brain is estimated to hold more than 5 times as much information as the Encyclopedia Britannica

The image of a light bulb above the head when you have an idea is right on point. The brain operates on the same amount of power as a 10-watt light bulb.

More electrical impulses are generated in one day by a single human brain than by all the telephones in the world

There are over 100,000 miles of blood vessels in the brain. Stretched out, they would circle the earth more than 4 times

The human brain is estimated to produce 70,000 different thoughts on an average day.

Mouth, Eyes, Nose and Ears

Your tongue is the only muscle in your body that is attached at only one end

1.7 litres of saliva is produced each day

The less you salivate, the more susceptible you are to tooth decay. Saliva helps prevent harmful bacteria from thriving.

By the time you reach age 60, you have a 25% chance of losing all your teeth.

The reason why food and drinks taste bad after you brush your teeth is because a chemical in toothpaste, SLS affects the taste receptors on your tongue. It dulls the receptors that recognize sweetness and enhances the receptors that recognize bitterness. This drastically alters the taste of most foods, especially sweet and bitter ones

Hair and Fingernails

Facial hair grows faster than any other hair on the body. If the average man never shaved, his beard would grow to over 30 feet in his lifetime.

Each day you lose between 6-100 strands of hair, unless you are already bald.

Women’s hair is half the diameter of men’s hair which is why men have coarser hair than women

Hair and nails do not continue to grow after death. The reason they appear longer is because the skin dehydrates, it pulls back from the nail bed and scalp

Fingernails grow 4 times faster than toe nails, and the nails that are used most frequently grow the fastest.

Human hair is indestructible. Human hair decays at an extremely slow rate and cannot be destroyed by cold, change of climate, water or other natural forces, and is resistant to many acids and corrosive chemicals.

Intelligent people have more zinc and copper in their hair.

Skin

If you were to remove your skin, it would weigh as much as 5 pounds

Hands and Feet

Like fingerprints, everyone’s tongue print is different.

Human foot is a biological miracle: strong, flexible and built to support hundreds of tons of pressure and withstand the tremendous forces of everyday living.

About 10% to 11% of the world’s population is left-handed

Right handed people live, on average, nine years longer than left-handed people

Muscles and Bones

Human thigh bones are stronger than concrete.

It’s not really an invisible car, it’s a car turned invisible through an artistic paint job and a skillful shot from a certain angle using a camera that makes it look like invisible.

Sara Watson, a student at the University of Central Lancashire (Uclan), took 3 weeks to work on this car’s paint job in the car park outside her studio at Uclan’s Hanover Building in Preston.

According to some sources, the car is now being used for advertising by the local recycling firm that donated the vehicle.

Inside our Home Planet

Paris, France has more dogs than people.

New Zealand is home to 70 million sheep and only 40 million people.

Until 1896, India was the only source for diamonds to the world.

The names of the continents all end with the same letter with which they start.

Earth weighs 5,972,000,000, 000,000,000, 000 tons.

90 % of all the ice in the world is on Antarctica.

Antarctica is the DRIEST continent. Antarctica is a desert.

Antarctica is the COLDEST continent, averaging minus 76 degrees in the winter.

More than 1,000 different languages are spoken on the continent of Africa.

Earth is the only planet not named after a god.

There was once an undersea post office in the Bahamas.

“Canada” is an Indian word meaning “Big Village”.

Outside our Home Planet

Mercury is the closest planet to the sun and it doesn’t have a moon. Its atmosphere is so thin that during the day the temperature reaches 750 degrees, but
at night it gets down to -300 degrees.

Jupiter is the largest planet. If Jupiter were hollow, you could fit 1000 earths inside! It is made up of gas and is not solid. The most famous feature on
Jupiter is its Red Spot, which is actually an enormous hurricane that has been raging on Jupiter for hundreds of years! Sixteen moons orbit Jupiter.

Saturn is a very windy place! Winds can reach up to 1,100 miles per hour. Saturn is also made of gas. If you could find an ocean large enough, it would
float. This planet is famous for its beautiful rings, and has at least 18 moons.

Pluto is the farthest planet from the sun… usually. It has such an unusual orbit that it is occasionally closer to the sun than Neptune. Pluto is made of
rock and ice.
